Never forget the people who helped get you across the stage. 🎓❤️

At graduation, we handed the mic to the Class of 2026 with one simple instruction: pick a teacher, any teacher, and say thank you, and there were so many special moments, we had to make this a three-part series. 🥹

Last week, the Lowndes Athletic Leadership Council hosted the annual All Sports Awards Banquet, celebrating student-athletes from across all sports and recognizing excellence both on and off the field.

Each year, coaches nominate athletes in a variety of categories, with finalists narrowed down to a prestigious top three before one overall winner is selected and recognized by the council at the banquet.

Before the awards presentation began, council member and softball player Olivia Steel interviewed keynote speaker and former Lowndes High School Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Randy McPherson. Coach McPherson reflected on his time at Lowndes and shared valuable advice and encouragement with the coaches and student-athletes in attendance.

Congratulations to the following student-athletes, coaches, and volunteers!

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. As a school system serving nearly 1,000 military-connected families, we are especially grateful for the sacrifices made by so many.
