Delaware's 14th RD Democratic Committee The 14th Representative District (RD) Democratic Committee is the local arm of the Delaware Democrats.

We represent Rehoboth, Dewey & southern Lewes. As the local arm of the Delaware Democratic Party, the 14th Representative District Democratic Committee represents Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and southern Lewes, and works with party members and district neighbors to help elect Democrats to local, state and national office. Because Delaware holds elections every other year, there's always work to be done.

Delaware Democrats are delivering for our communities—and there is much more work to do.

Our new election guide highlights Democratic accomplishments in healthcare, housing, energy, environmental protection, education, quality of life, efficient government, and the defense of democracy. It also includes a sample ballot and important information about Election Day, early voting, and absentee voting.

📅 Election Day: Tuesday, November 3
🕖 Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
✅ Early voting begins October 22.

Pick up today’s Cape Gazette, save this guide, and share it with your friends and neighbors. Then make a plan to vote Democratic—from the top of the ballot to the bottom.

✨ A MESSAGE OF BRIGHT HOPE ✨

U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester joined the 14th RD last night and brought us exactly what we needed for the work ahead: a message of bright hope.

Drawing on her vast legislative experience as well as her dance background, she asked us to keep three things in mind:

1️⃣ “The ensemble is more beautiful than the solo.”
Our strength comes from working together. Every person and every contribution matters.

2️⃣ Campaign work can be tiring—and sometimes painful. Take care of your feet, even through the pain.
Care for yourself and one another so that we can keep moving forward.

3️⃣ Pick a spot and focus. Don’t get distracted. KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE
The work before us is too important to lose sight of our purpose.

We were also delighted to welcome Claire for Delaware and Russell Huxtable.

Thank you, Senator Blunt Rochester, for reminding us that bright hope is not simply something we feel—it is something we create together through focus, perseverance, and collective action.

As we move into the final stretch, let’s care for one another, stay focused, and keep our eyes on the prize.

Join us on Thursday, October 22, from 7:00–8:30 p.m. as State Representative Claire Snyder-Hall and her opponent, Mike Simpler, participate in a virtual candidate forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Sussex County.
