On Friday, October 9, CAMP Rehoboth will partner with the Mental Health Association (MHA) in Delaware to recognize National Depression Screening Day with complimentary mental health screenings open to the community.

CAMP Rehoboth has partnered with the The Mental Health Association in Delaware in joining organizations around Delaware to offer quick anonymous screenings in various locations throughout the state. National Depression Screening Day is designed to call attention to depression on a national level, educate the public about symptoms and effective treatment, offer individuals the opportunity to be screened for depression and connect those in need to the mental health care system in Delaware.

Elizabeth A. Davis, Psy.D of MHA will be onsite to offer the complimentary depression screenings. These screenings are often the first step for individuals with depression in getting help. Logan Farro opens his first solo show, Active Imagination, on October 7 at the CAMP Rehoboth Gallery. The exhibit features a collection of paintings, illustrations, and other mixed media works.

Logan, an active member of the CAMP Rehoboth community, is a Delaware Division of the Arts Individual Artists Fellowship recipient, and with this award has worked to expand his own creative practice. Exploring new mediums and techniques, Logan has been able to further both his art process and his creative expression.

Active Imagination will be on display from October 7-27, with a reception on Sunday, October 11, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Flu vaccinations will be available on Thursday, October 1, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at CAMP Rehoboth Community Center.

With the Flu Season underway, Beebe Healthcare is hosting this influenza vaccination clinic via its partnership with Cape Pharmacy. Three options will be available, including High Dose for those over 65 years of age, Regular for those 18 and older, and Egg Free for those over 18 with an egg allergy or concern. There is no pre-registration required. Individuals interested in a flu shot will be asked to provide an ID and insurance information.

Additionally, free health screenings will be provided, including: Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, and Glucose. Walk ins are welcomed and appointments are not required. Insurance may be used. The vaccines are only available to adults 18 years and older.
