Making partnerships across county lines.

Word is out. Folks know there are lots of opportunities to improve EMS across rural Wisconsin. We agree! Coming together, we can improve response time, care, and outcomes! Our neighbors in southwest Dodge County get it! Happy to help the emerging Clyman Lowell Reeseville Fire Rescue launch a brand new EMS district. Chief Howlett and his team are building a model we know works - because we're doing it! Sharing ideas. Neighbors helping neighbors. Helping lead important, long overdue conversations. Let's take this template and make Wisconsin safer! Proud to be your Sugar River EMS!

Last week one of our members had the opportunity to travel to Pueblo, CO to The Security and Emergency Response Training Center (SERTC) to participate in the 40 hour Tank Car Specialist (TCS) course.

This program is designed for hazmat technicians and emergency responders, and it is taught using real railcars to build skills for handling derailments, leaks, and product transfers.

This opportunity was at no cost to our department or the member through support from DHS/FEMA.

Last week CLR EMS along with other area departments received a donation from Jahnke's Piggly Wiggly from the register round-up. Thank you to everyone that rounded up and thank you to Jahnke's for your continued support!

Please stay up to to date on weather conditions this week. Also, remember to check on family, friends and neighbors during this heat wave. Elderly, young and sick persons are especially vulnerable to the high temps.
