🚫 Please Note – We WILL NOT accept:
• General household trash
• Household hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, cleaners, pool chemicals, used oil)
• Fluorescent lamps
• Pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizer
• Medical, infectious, or biohazard waste

It’s almost mowing season! Please remove any decor from our cemeteries by April 1st.

We have placed our cemetery levy on the spring ballot. These funds allow us to maintain 12 cemeteries in Olive Township, including hiring summer help to mow and weedeat, purchasing gasoline for equipment, making repairs to mowing equipment, etc. If you have any questions regarding this levy, please message this page and I’d be happy to answer any of your questions.

🚨 Roadway Update 🚨

Due to ongoing winter weather and continued coordination with road crews working to improve conditions, Meigs County will remain under a Level 3 Snow Emergency until 4:00 p.m. This allows crews additional time to safely clear and treat roadways.

Road conditions will be reassessed later this afternoon, and another update will be provided at 4:00 p.m.

Please avoid travel. Stay safe, Meigs County. ❄️🚔

Township meeting will be Wednesday, January 7th at 6:30pm.

There will be a public viewing and hearing on 1/22/26 to discuss permanent road closure of First Avenue. This road closure was requested by the property owner.
