📢 Reedsport School District Board Vacancy 📢

The Reedsport School District Board of Directors is seeking qualified applicants to fill a vacancy for Position 5 on the Board of Directors. The appointed individual will serve through June 30, 2027.

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must:
• Be a legally registered voter
• Have been a resident of the Reedsport School District for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment
• Not be an employee of the district
• PLEASE NOTE: Family members of district employees ARE eligible to apply. Board members are required to comply with Oregon conflict-of-interest laws regarding matters involving family members.

The Board will accept applications through Friday, July 31, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Interested individuals should submit a School Board of Directors Application and a letter of interest that includes:
• Name
• Home address
• Email address
• Telephone number
• Reason(s) for seeking appointment
• Qualifications, experience, and skills that would contribute to Board service

The School Board of Directors Application is available under the School Board tab on the district website at www.reedsport.k12.or.us.

The Board will interview applicants and consider the appointment during its regular Board meeting on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Reedsport School District Office, 2260 Longwood Drive, Reedsport.

NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING
A public meeting of the Reedsport School District #105 Board of Directors will be held on June 10, 2026, at 5:30 pm at Reedsport District Office Board Room, 100 Ranch Road, Reedsport, OR 97467. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026as approved by the Reedsport School District #105 Budget Committee. A summary of the budget is presented below. A copy of the budget may be inspected or obtained at the Reedsport District Office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., or online at www.reedsport.k12.or.us. This budget is for an annual budget period. This budget was prepared on a basis of accounting that is the same as the preceding year.
