What an incredible way to wrap up our Summer Adventure! ☀️🏖️

We spent our final day at the lake enjoying the beautiful sandy beach, warm sunshine, and a refreshing breeze. Students splashed in the water, played on the playground, relaxed under the pavilion, and enjoyed lunch along with some special snack treats. It was the perfect way to celebrate an amazing few weeks together.

Over the last several weeks, we had a wonderful time learning, exploring, creating memories, and growing together. From exciting field trips and hands-on activities to new friendships and lots of laughter, it has truly been a summer to remember!
Our final bus ride home was filled with giggles, laughter, and conversations about all of our favorite memories. We shared hugs, said our goodbyes, and wrapped up another unforgettable Summer Adventure.

Thank you to all of our amazing students and families for making this summer so special. We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and relaxing rest of the summer.

We'll see everyone back for the first day of school on August 24th! 💙📚

☀️ Summer Adventure Fun! 🌭🎉

What a fantastic day at Summer Adventure! Our students enjoyed a delicious hot dog cookout, and a huge thank you goes to our amazing kitchen staff for preparing all the tasty sides that completed our lunch.

After lunch, everyone had a blast rotating through a variety of fun activities, including obstacle courses, bubbles, magical chalk art, an egg-and-spoon race, sack races, bowling, hopscotch, and so much more! There was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and smiles throughout the day.

Although we had some unexpected technical difficulties accessing our water, which meant we couldn't enjoy our planned water activities, the nice breeze kept everyone comfortable, and the students still had an amazing time.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today another memorable Summer Adventure! We are looking forward to our final adventure tomorrow — a whole day at the lake! 🌊☀️

Our final Tuesday adventure was to the roller rink!
🛼🎉 Rolling into another fantastic Summer Adventure! 🎉🛼

Today our Summer Adventure students had an absolute blast at the Big Rapids Roller Skating Rink! From first-time skaters finding their balance to experienced skaters showing off their moves, everyone had a chance to build confidence, encourage friends, and most importantly—have fun!

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories made both on and off the rink. It's always wonderful to see our students trying new things, supporting one another, and enjoying time together outside the classroom.

A big thank you to the staff at the Big Rapids Roller Skating Rink for welcoming our group and helping make our visit such a fun and successful experience!

We love creating opportunities for our students to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy exciting summer adventures together. 💙☀️

🐾 What an unforgettable adventure at Legends Wildlife Center! 🦘🦙🦉

Our Summer Adventure students had an incredible time exploring, learning, and making memories together! From meeting amazing animals up close to discovering fascinating facts about wildlife and conservation, it was a day full of hands-on learning and excitement.

The students asked thoughtful questions, showed kindness and curiosity toward the animals, and had so much fun experiencing something new. Seeing their smiles, excitement, and sense of wonder made the trip truly special!

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Legends Wildlife Center for sharing your knowledge, caring for these incredible animals, and giving our students such an engaging and memorable experience. We appreciate all you do!

We have had some HOT days during our adventures. Some students cooled off at the splash pad Monday after ice cream from Dairy Depot. Last week we had a heat advisory. Dairy Depot kindly arranged for us to get ice cream to go so students could cool off inside safely. We appreciated it greatly.

The adventures continue! The students learned so many amazing and cool facts when Kyro came for a visit! Such a wonderful experience for our students. Attention: Swapping days around based on weather forecast. Thursday appears to be a better beach day! We will got to the beach all day Thursday for a final adventure together instead of tomorrow (wed). Tomorrow 7/22/26 we plan to have a fun day doing activities at GT. We plan to have a fun outdoor lunch of hot dogs and more. Students may still play in some water activities tomorrow so change of clothes will be needed to go home dry. Swim gear will now be needed for Thursday. May bring sunscreen both days. Please continue to bring a water bottle.

Update as of 8:25 am: Big Rapids Pool is closed for today. Due to this and condition of our building we will be closing Summer Adventure. We will serve breakfast to students with plan to pick up between 9:15 - 9:30. If you would like to arrive before that time feel free.

⚠️ Summer Adventure Family Update ⚠️

We want to give families a heads-up that we are closely monitoring the current Air Quality Warning and the noticeable smoke odor in our building.

We are also checking the air quality conditions in Big Rapids as we determine whether it will be safe to travel to the pool today.

A decision will be made as soon as possible regarding today's Summer Adventure program. If air quality conditions are not safe, we may need to cancel today's program.

If that decision is made, all students who are currently at school will need to be picked up by a parent or authorized emergency contact.

We will communicate our decision as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we continue to put the health and safety of our students and staff first.

Announcement Update:

If your student has not yet attended and you are not sure which group they are in please reach out. Otherwise your student is in the group with the teacher they have had so far through Summer Adventure.

Tomorrow, July 15th we have 2 different adventures planned. This will be a similar day on Monday the 20th we will just be swapping groups with a minor adjustment in activities. Monday's local activity group will need swim suit/dry change of clothes. Check the rest of the flyers for details for more upcoming days below.
