Planning to show livestock this year? Don't forget that LQA&E or YQCA training must be completed in order to be eligible to exhibit at the State Fair!

LQA&E is good for 3 years and YQCA is good for 1 year. Learn more about this requirement at https://z.umn.edu/LQA-training.

Brown and Redwood Counties will host this year’s session on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 5:00–8:15 PM at Cedar Mountain High School, 207 Gallager St, Morgan, MN. Check‑in begins at 4:45 PM. The training is free, and snacks will be provided. Renville county will not be hosting a session this year.

On May 28, 2026, five students passed the Artex Welding Skills Exam, earning their Cardinal Welding Certificate. Congratulations to Knox Kramer, Dylan Mertens, Tyler Sander, Hunter Tisue, and Erik Rasmussen. Special thanks to Artex for supporting us in this endeavor. Great work students!

Register for the Buds and Blooms 4-H Photo Challenge!

Minnesota 4-H photography is excited to offer a statewide photography challenge to youth in grades K+. Youth will select one photo and write a few brief sentences stating why it's special to them and email [email protected]. The deadline is 11:59 p.m. on June 8.

Last night we had the opportunity to visit Help Tuck Them In in Tracy, MN and donate $5,000 to their incredible organization. Their mission is to ensure every child has a bed to sleep in, and it was amazing to see the impact they are making in our communities.

We are so thankful for groups like this that work tirelessly to provide such an important need for local families. Thank you, Help Tuck Them In for all that you do! ❤️

Springdale Climbers 4-H Club had a busy night assembling Birthday Kits for the Tracy Food Shelf. Each kit includes a pan, cake mix, frosting, can of soda, balloons and a special surprise to help make their special day even more special.
