Last Wednesday, we celebrated all of our seniors’ bright futures at our Woodside Next Steps Signing Day! 🎓✨

Our seniors got to “sign” their names and next steps commitments to celebrate their next adventures upon graduation.

Whether they plan on attending a 4-year University, Community College, taking a gap year, joining the military, or taking some time off, we are incredibly proud of all of our Wildcats and everything they have and will continue to accomplish!

Congratulations to the Woodside High School Class of 2026! 🎉

Learning goes beyond the classroom at SUHSD.

Students from our continuation high school, Redwood High School, recently launched a boat they have spent the school year building as part of the school’s incredible maritime trades program. This week, students celebrated that milestone at the Port of Redwood City while also learning more about sailing, teamwork and life on the water alongside industry experts.

Next up: learning how to row.

Hands-on experiences like these help students build confidence, develop technical and collaborative skills, and connect learning to real-world opportunities and career pathways.

Last week, we proudly celebrated 100 students across SUHSD who achieved the important milestone of becoming Reclassified Fluent English Proficient (RFEP)!

Reclassification reflects students’ perseverance, dedication, and academic growth as they transition from English Learner status to Fluent English Proficient. 👏

We are incredibly proud of our newly reclassified students and grateful to the staff, including our Bilingual Resource Teachers, who support student success every step of the way. 🤍

Throughout the visit, Board members met with department chairs over lunch, heard directly from a student panel, and connected with parents to learn more about the experiences, perspectives, and aspirations that shape the EPAA campus life.

The thoughtful questions and conversations throughout the day reflected the strength of collaboration and shared commitment to student success.

Thank you to the East Palo Alto Academy community for sharing your voices and experiences with us.
