There’s been a lot of conversation (and rude comments) surrounding our Distracted Driving Enforcement Video.

This incident is exactly why we do it. 👆

Stay safe, and keep your eyes on the road!

Getting a citation for using a cellphone while driving, that’s life! ❌📱

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and RBPD’s Traffic Unit made sure to be on the scene to educate drivers and help keep the roads safe from distracted driving.

🚨 CA law prohibits drivers from holding a cell phone or electronic device while driving, including at a red light!

Cell phones should be attached and mounted to hands-free devices. If you need to use your phone, pull over to a safe area before doing so. It’s not just dangerous, but also illegal!

Put the Phone Away or Pay. 📵
