Happy National Hot Cross Buns Day! 🥐

Our residents at Blossom Grove celebrated by getting hands-on in the kitchen and making delicious homemade hot cross buns! From mixing and shaping the dough, everyone enjoyed a fun-filled baking activity filled with creativity, teamwork, sweet aromas, and wonderful memories.

The best part was enjoying the warm, freshly baked treats together! Activities like this give our residents the opportunity to reminisce, stay engaged, practice hand coordination, and share the joy of creating something delicious.

This Labor Day at Blossom Grove, we took time to honor the incredible careers, hard work, and contributions of our residents.

Together, we created a special Labor Day table runner, placing each resident’s handprint on it as a symbol of the work, dedication, and purpose they poured into their lives and communities.

Our residents have spent their lives working in so many meaningful professions, including:
Dentistry
Teaching and Education
Healthcare
Business
Construction and Skilled Trades
Homemaking
Retail
And so many more.

Behind every handprint is a story, a career, a family, and a lifetime of memories. We loved hearing our residents share what they did, what they were proud of, and the work that helped shape who they are today.

This Labor Day, we celebrate more than the holiday. We celebrate the hands that worked, served, created, provided, cared for others, and made a difference.

Our residents put on their chef hats for a delicious Build Your Own Pizza activity! From shaping their dough and spreading the sauce to choosing their favorite toppings, everyone got to create a pizza that was uniquely their own.

This hands-on activity was more than just making a tasty meal—it encouraged creativity, fine-motor skills, hand coordination, decision-making, and social connection as residents helped one another and shared their favorite toppings. And of course, the best part was getting to eat their delicious creations together! 🍕❤️

Our Summer Hawaiian Luau was a beautiful celebration filled with vibrant tropical décor, delicious ʻono Hawaiian-inspired food, music, laughter, and an incredible Polynesian dance performance! 💃🏽🌺

Our residents, families, and staff came together to enjoy an afternoon of culture, connection, and unforgettable memories. From the island-inspired atmosphere to the smiles around every table, it truly felt like a little piece of Hawaii right here at Blossom Grove.

A special Mahalo to our wonderful team and volunteers who helped make this celebration so spectacular. We are so grateful for everyone who made this day one to remember!

💦☀️ Splash Into Summer at Blossom Grove! 🌴

What a refreshing day of summer fun, laughter, and making memories together! Our residents had a blast dipping their feet in the water, taking aim with water guns, and cheering on some fun poolside water wrestling matches! 💦😂

Our families joined in on the fun too, enjoying the water, refreshing drinks, and sweet moments with their loved ones. ❤️ There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and memories made that we'll be carrying with us all summer long!

We brought the campfire classic indoors at Blossom Grove! Our residents had a sweet time making delicious S’mores Cookies loaded with gooey marshmallows, melty chocolate, and crunchy graham crackers. ❤️🍫🤎

The beautiful thing is watching people celebrate life and be grateful for every single breath they breathe in the morning. I also got to witness our residents flourishing in whatthey do best. Our residents had a wonderful time creating their own delicious strawberry parfaits! Layering fresh strawberries, creamy yogurt, and crunchy granola was not only a fun hands-on activity but also a great way to encourage creativity, conversation, and independence.

👔💙 We had a wonderful time celebrating the incredible fathers and father figures in our community at our Father's Day Celebration!

The afternoon was filled with laughter, music, and meaningful moments as the talented Michael Finn entertained everyone with his wonderful performance. Residents also enjoyed a fun game of "Pin the Tie on Dad," which brought plenty of smiles and friendly competition!

Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring the love, wisdom, strength, and lasting impact that fathers bring to our lives. It was a joyful celebration filled with cherished memories and happy hearts. Happy Father's Day! 💙
