RT Beautification Commission A Commission created by Township Ordinance 256.

While we announced the Best Yard Winners from anywhere in the township just a few days ago, the Western View Neighborhood Association awards a few yards each month within their neighborhood association.

Thank you to Sandy and Veronica for sharing these yards with us and recognizing residents for doing great work!

In case you missed it, the fall perennial exchange is in just a couple weeks.

Join us Saturday, September 12, 9-11 am at the Redford Marquee (next to the police station) to swap perennials with other plant lovers!

If you have perennials to share, bring them along and please LABEL them. If you don't have any perennials to share, you may still participate, just remember to share whether you bring plants or not and don't be a perennial piggy :)

Fall is a great time to plant new perennials as they have some time to grow up roots when it is cooler and get a bit more well established by spring.

We will have a master gardener on site to help with gardening/growing questions with all kinds of great literature for you.

The event is FREE, Open to all ages. Rain or Shine.

We are very excited to announce the 10 best yard winners this year and the 2 most patriotic yard winners! Congratulations to the winners!

Thank you to everyone who participated-there were many fabulous candidates this year it's always so hard to narrow it down to 10!

Our Share the Sunshine beds are blooming in Handy Park and Claude Allison! These zinnia beds ARE for picking so go get yourself a bouquet! The bed by the Marquee isn't quite ready yet.

There is a special award for MOST PATRIOTIC this year to celebrate the 250th birthday of USA. Non-patriotic yards are also great though 🙂

Please provide the address, the name of the gardener if you know it, a brief description of the yard and a photo(s) of the OVERALL FRONT YARD if possible.
