Michigan law enforcement needs a voice wherever decisions are made.

For more than 25 years, Michigan Legislative Consultants has represented POAM in Lansing, helping keep the concerns of officers, retirees, and their families in front of state leaders.

At a recent MLC client gathering, POAM representatives Jim Tignanelli and John Graver met with John James, POAM’s endorsed candidate for governor, and his running mate for lieutenant governor, State Rep. Jay DeBoyer.

The gathering brought together organizations representing trades and industries across Michigan and provided an important opportunity to strengthen relationships with leaders who understand the issues affecting law enforcement.

Strong relationships help ensure law enforcement remains at the table and that the people who protect Michigan are heard.

The latest round of Signed and Sealed contract wins includes the Eastpointe Command Officers Association, Dearborn Heights Command Officers Association, Washtenaw County Deputy Sheriff's Association, Troy Police Officers Association, and Police Officers Association of Dearborn.

Highlights include wage increases, signing bonuses, expanded court pay, and an added Juneteenth holiday.
