Mark you calendars! Portillo’s will be donating 20% of their proceeds on August 11th to Redford Interfaith Relief from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Tell your family and friends to enjoy a night of hot dogs, burgers, pasta, and more while supporting your local food bank. Shifts:
• 12:00–3:00 PM: Loading bags into the van
• 3:00–6:00 PM: Loading bags and sorting at the pantry

Join us on May 9th to help collect, load, and sort donations from the Letter Carriers’ Food Drive, starting at noon. We are looking for volunteers to help collect and sort incoming donations—please comment here or call (313) 395-8765 to sign up.
Shifts:
• 12:00–3:00 PM: Loading bags into the van
• 3:00–6:00 PM: Loading bags into the van and sorting groceries at the pantry

We're excited to be partnering with the American Humanist Association for The American Empathy project, tomorrow, May 2. From 11-1 we will be creating meals in a bag to feed 400 client families a complete Chicken & Dumplings meal!
