Redding Republicans have helped to make and to keep Redding the best small town in Connecticut. Redding Republicans are the natural choice. Educational Excellence:
Redding Republicans advocate an excellent, progressive, innovative, and balanced education for our children. We believe in setting ambitious educational goals, requiring accountability in achieving them, and maintaining vigilant control of costs. Commitment to Conservation:
Redding Republicans believe we must preserve the rural character of our community, through fair and effective enforcement of our land-use regulations. We favor prudent acquisition of open space for passive and active recreational uses, while ensuring a safe, pristine, environment for our precious water resources. We advocate local energy efficiency and conservation for all town buildings as well as promoting renewable energy. Accountability & Responsibility:

Redding Republicans believe we must manage our financial resources carefully and prudently. We respect the taxpayer's ability to fund expenditures. We will aggressively pursue Redding's equitable share of State and Federal services and revenues, including grants. We are committed to open, ethical, and accountable local government and support bipartisan efforts to provide the best environment for all Redding citizens. Redding Republicans support local candidates who, without interference from Washington or Hartford, put the interests of Redding first. After all, Redding residents know what is best for our town.

Last night, I attended the 47th Prescott Bush Awards Dinner in Stanford (Benton Proto was a terrific host). Here’s a photo of our candidate for State Senator, Alma Sarelli with the keynote speaker, Kellyanne Conway. Please remember to support Alma at votealma.com.

Kellyanne was very gracious and I enjoyed reminiscing with her over shared history and mutual connections.

Her speech was impactful and two of her comments I wanted to share with all. First, Kellyanne mentions that proverbial niece one sees once a year at a family gathering who continues to debate the two issues you will never agree upon year after year; STOP and find the 6 issues you agree upon and connect. Second, as Republicans reject unanimity, celebrate diversity of thought that is who we are and differentiate us from the Democrats but UNITE under a come cause - elect Republicans. The New Canaan RTC’s 18th Annual Lincoln Reagan Dinner - US Congressman Michael Lawler, honored speaker - doing a great Trump impression. A terrific evening, New Canaan’s RTC is to be congratulated, particularly Melany Hearne (New Canaan RTC Chair)

🔌Funny how the “electric rate crisis” suddenly became urgent to Gov. Lamont only two months before a primary in an election year…

The governor has been in office for 8 years. CT has had some of the highest electric rates in America under his administration.

CT Senate Republicans proposed real plans to lower electric rates and eliminate the Public Benefits Charge. Democrats voted NO!

Now he says he’s “stepping up”? Connecticut families have been paying the price while he and CT Democrats did nothing for YEARS!
