Guidelines for Using social media for non-United Way Representatives
UW-GWP reserves the rights to dele
te any post that:
• Contains vulgar language (including masked words “***”)
• Is clearly off-topic or disruptive
• Includes personal attacks
• Contains spam or advertising for services, products, or political campaigns
• Violates the terms and agreements of the social media platform being used
United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha & Pierce Counties will not tolerate implicit or explicit discrimination or intimidation (including but not limited to age, sex, race, color, creed, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability, or marital status or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or ordinances).”
Any statements posted on social media under the United Way GWP name that do not meet these guidelines will be removed immediately upon discovery or notification at the discretion of UW-GWP.
