Please be advised that most of the Town of Red River offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025 in observance of Veterans' Day. This includes the following facilities:
-Red River Town Hall
-Red River Public Library
-Russell A Church Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant & Transfer Station

However, please note that the Red River Conference & Visitor Center will be open as usual.

Additionally, all committee meetings have been canceled for November.

Town of Red River Office of Economic Development & Tourism has contracted with HatchForm, an economic development consulting firm, to develop a Red River-specific business disaster preparedness toolkit. International Economic Development Council has identified that business disaster preparedness is one of the most proactive steps an organization can take to prepare their organizations for any potential disasters, including natural, man-made and technological. Such plans are vital for any businesses.

Town of Red River Office of Economic Development and Tourism has been recognized for several projects with 2025 Excellence in Economic Development Awards. The Town was awarded a Gold-level award in Special Purpose Website for its tourism website, and two Silver-level awards for marketing campaigns and special event programming. The Town's Director of Economic Development and Tourism Max Khudiakov, CEcD received the awards at the International Economic Development Council Annual Conference in Detroit, MI earlier this week.

Our partners down in Questa are having their first kickball tournament this weekend. It is a free event.

"First and foremost, a co-ed community kickball tournament for youth (ages 12-17), adults (18+). Little ones will enjoy activities in the Kids’ Zone featuring bounce houses, face painting, and crafts. Foodies can indulge in local treats from vendors, and you can find unique treasures from crafts booths."

Dear Residents,

As part of ongoing improvements to our town, temporary construction stacking materials have been placed in designated areas. These materials are critical to the progress and safety of the current construction project.

Please do not touch, move, or remove any of the stacking ( Flagging) / Surveyor Markers) materials. Tampering with or relocating them may cause serious safety hazards and delay completion.

Our contractors are working on a strict budget and schedule, because of this they have carefully positioned the materials for optimized access and use.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to enhance our community. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Anthony Martinez, Town of Red River.

🌲 Protecting What Makes Red River Special
There’s discussion in Washington about selling certain federal public lands to private buyers. These lands are the heart of our community — supporting our economy, recreation, and way of life. As the Mayor, I fully support the position our New Mexico congressional delegation has taken to oppose this proposal and protect these lands for future generations. We’ll continue to monitor this closely and keep our residents informed. ❤️🏔
