The Drug Enforcement Administration National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is happening this Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Red Oak Police Department encourages all residents to take advantage of this nationwide initiative by safely disposing of any unused, unwanted, or expired prescription medications.

This program provides a convenient and anonymous way to:

Prevent medication misuse
Reduce the risk of overdose
Keep our community safe

Today is the Rylan Mirtz Memorial Truck Show which starts at 3pm.

The City has given permission to close the streets around the fairgrounds during this time. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding as the community remembers Rylan today and everyday.
