Red Oak Public Library The Red Oak Library is located in the City of Red Oak, just south of Dallas, TX. We're just off of 35E, stop by and see us! ft.

The Red Oak Library is located in the Red Oak Municipal building in a single room of 950 sq. The library provides public computer and internet access with 5 PC workstations. The library maintains an online website, an online catalog, access to consortium reference databases through the state-funded TexShare program, and a page where event schedules and photos are posted. The library provi

des weekly programming primarily targeted at young children. Ideally, library programming will expand to include a teen club, an adult book club, senior computer classes, and other all-ages programming. The biggest annual event hosted by the library is Summer Reading Club which runs for 6 weeks during the summer and provides crafts, games, outdoor activities, and reading challenges to children and teens. The library also provides a toddler-aged children weekly. The library runs a variety one-time programs throughout the year, all events are listed on the city website and FB. The library appreciates the assistance of the Library Board, which meets monthly to discuss current library initiatives and concerns. The library has an active Friends of the Library group and is actively seeking interested individuals who would be willing to work with the friends to provide community support and fundraising for the library.
