Four Red Creek High School seniors were recognized at the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) Signing Day on Thursday, June 11, celebrating their decision to put their skills to work in the professional world! ✍️

The annual event highlights CTE students who have signed commitments to enter the workforce. The honored students were:

• Charles G. — Electrical Trades, Lakeshore Electric
• David K. — Heavy Equipment Repair and Operations, Dates Excavating
• Daniel S. — Auto Body Repair, Elevated Auto Spa and Detailing
• Drake W. — Heavy Equipment Repair and Operations, R.E. and H.J. McQueen, Inc.

“These students have turned their skills, dedication, and hard work into career opportunities,” said Red Creek Central School District Superintendent Matthew VanOrman. “We are proud to celebrate this important milestone and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their industries.”

South Street is expected to be reopened tomorrow morning, Wednesday, June 10th. Thank you to our community for your patience, and to the Village of Red Creek for working to repair the road.

A sinkhole has closed a portion of South Street in the Village of Red Creek. To access the school or community center, all traffic must enter from the Route 104 side of South Street.

Please expect traffic delays when we return to school next week as the Village of Red Creek works to repair the road. We will send out updated communication when the road is fixed and reopened.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while this is being repaired.

🐸 Students in Mrs. Wojieck's science classes recently practiced dissection skills on pickles. 8th graders then applied those techniques in a frog dissection lab, gaining a deeper understanding of anatomy through hands-on learning!

Mya D. punched her ticket to the NYS Outdoor Track and Field Championships after taking 1st place at the Class C State Qualifier meet with a jump of 5'3"! Congrats, Mya!! 👏🎉
