At this time, service is expected to be restored by 2:00 PM today.

In the meantime:
• You may visit our office to make payments by cash or check

We are approaching the final day to pay the second installment of property taxes.

📅 The deadline to pay without penalty is Thursday, April 10th.

To better serve our taxpayers, our office will be open during lunch hours from April 1st through April 10th to help you make your payment before the deadline.

I would like to remind everyone that the final day to pay the first installment of their 2025-26 property tax bill is Wednesday December 10th. To accommodate the tax deadline, we have extended our hours and will be open from 8AM to 5PM. You can also pay online at tax.tehama.gov or by phone at (877)-556-4506. If you are mailing your check in, try to get it into the mail this weekend, otherwise you might want to get the postmark hand canceled next week, to ensure it is received timely.

I'm pleased to announce that we started mailing our secured tax bills out last Friday and should be finished today. You should be receiving your bills this week. If for some reason you don't receive a bill by November 1st, please reach out to my office and we'll mail you a new one. You can also view/pay your taxes online at tax.tehama.gov.

I'm pleased to announce that the 2025/26 secured (annual) property tax bills are now available to view and pay online at tax.tehama.gov. We've submitted our bills to our print vendor and they should be on their way in the coming weeks. Please reach out to my office if you don't receive a bill by the first week of November. The final day to pay the first installment is December 10th, 2025.

Unsecured tax bills hit the mail stream on Thursday 7/24. If you don't receive your bill by the end of the week, please reach out to my office or visit us on tax.tehama.gov. The last day to pay unsecured bills timely this year is 9/2/25 due to the regular deadline falling on the weekending and Labor Day.
