🍂 FALL CLEAN-UP WEEK | OCTOBER 26–30, 2026 🍂

The City of Red Bay has designated the week of October 26–30, 2026 as Fall Clean-Up Week!

During this week, brush and junk pick-up will be available at no charge to City of Red Bay residents. Residents may also drop off brush and junk at the City dump at no charge during Fall Clean-Up Week.

We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to clean up around their homes and properties as we work together to keep Red Bay clean and looking its best!

*One free pick-up/dump drop off per residence*

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who stepped forward in a time of unimaginable tragedy.

September 11 also reminds us of the strength we have when we stand together. In the days that followed, Americans came together as neighbors and as one nation—putting differences aside, helping one another, and showing the true meaning of unity.

As we remember this day, may we carry that same spirit forward in our own community. Let us choose kindness, support our neighbors, appreciate those who serve, and remember that there is far more that unites us than divides us.

May we never forget those we lost, never take our freedoms for granted, and never lose sight of the strength found in standing together.

The City of Red Bay has made the proposed License Plate Recognition (LPR) Camera Policy available for public review and comment.

Citizens may visit the City’s website to:

• Review the proposed LPR Policy
• Submit questions or concerns regarding the policy
• Find information about the upcoming public hearing

🍅 FARMERS MARKET SEASON UPDATE 🌽

The Red Bay Farmers Market is now closed for the season.

Thank you to all of our local farmers, vendors, and community members who supported the Farmers Market throughout the season. We appreciate everyone who helped make it a success!

We look forward to seeing everyone again next season! 🌻

🇺🇸 25th Anniversary of 9/11 | Prayer & Remembrance 🇺🇸

On Friday, September 11, 2026, the City of Red Bay invites our community to gather at Bay Tree Park at 12:00 noon for a special Service of Prayer and Remembrance marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Mayor Mike Shewbart invites everyone to join us as we remember those whose lives were lost, honor the heroes who answered the call that day, and reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown by our nation in the days that followed.

As part of the service, we will also recognize and honor our local first responders who continue to serve and protect our community each day. Bagpiper Trent Bradford will provide special music for the occasion.

Following the service, a hot dog lunch will be served. Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

We hope you will join your friends, neighbors, and community as we come together in prayer, gratitude, and remembrance.

This male dog was picked up between the school and Collum Road and is currently being held at the City of Red Bay pound.
