Celebrating Achievement, Building Cohesion

📍Headquarters Company, Red Bank, NJ.

At Combat Logistics Battalion 25 (CLB-25), we remain committed to recognizing the Marines whose dedication, professionalism, and leadership directly strengthen mission readiness while building the cohesion that makes our battalion successful. In keeping with Marine Corps tradition, we highlight three separate occasions where the Inspector-Instructor and Sergeant Major recognized Gunnery Sergeant Sanchez, Sergeant Acosta, and Sergeant Gonzalez for their exceptional service and meaningful contributions to CLB-25. Their accomplishments reflect the commitment, professionalism, and high standards that drive success across our geographically dispersed battalion.

We also celebrate an important personal milestone for one of our own, Sergeant Pradopina, during a baby shower that reflected the camaraderie and family-oriented culture central to our battalion. Events like these highlight what makes CLB-25 unique. we proudly recognize professional excellence while also supporting one another through life’s important milestones, reinforcing the pride, cohesion, and strong sense of community that define our unit.

Winning Hearts & Minds

📍New Jersey & Connecticut | Combat Logistics Battalion 25

Community Relations events (COMRELs) strengthen the bond between Marines and the communities they serve through outreach, volunteerism, and public engagement. These events showcase Marines as leaders, mentors, and ambassadors of the Corps’ values beyond the battlefield.

This past week, Marines from Combat Logistics Battalion 25 participated in several COMREL events across New Jersey and Connecticut.

Marines with Headquarters and Services Company participated in a community engagement initiative supporting veteran assistance homes in Middletown, New Jersey, while strengthening civilian-military relationships within the local community.

During the Annual Armed Forces Luncheon in Southington, Connecticut, Sgt. Mellennie Herrera was recognized for her exceptional contributions while serving with Maintenance Services Company (MSC), where she successfully filled a senior-held role and made a lasting impact on the unit. Marines with MSC also participated in a Color Guard ceremony in observance of Armed Forces Day — a national holiday established in 1950 to honor the service and sacrifice of America’s military members.

History Forged, Legacy Remains

📍Maintenance Services Company (MSC), New Haven, CT

Today we closed the chapter on Maintenance Services Company with pride, gratitude, and deep respect for those who came before us. Once a part of 6th Motor Transport Battalion, this unit carried a legacy in every clime and place—built by Marines whose grit, sacrifice, and brotherhood set the standard we upheld to the very end. It was an honor to have local New Haven veterans present, reminding us that while the guidon may be cased, the legacy lives on in every Marine who served.

Fair winds and following seas, Maintenance Services Company.

Semper Fidelis.

The Few, the Proud.

Marines from Detachment 1, Combat Logistics Battalion 25 (CLB-25) recently conducted joint Helicopter Support Team (HST) training with the “Hustlers” of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 772 (HMH-772), part of Marine Aircraft Group 49 (MAG-49), 4th Marine Aircraft Wing

The focus was on helicopter support teams (HSTs), a critical capability for expeditionary forces. HST operations enable the rapid delivery and retrieval of essential items and equipment, providing crucial logistical support over great distances. This hands-on practice not only increases the proficiency of the ground teams from CLB – 25 but also provides an invaluable opportunity for the pilots and air crew of HMH – 772 to perfect their skills. This seamless integration between air and ground units as what makes the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) so effective.

From executing long-distance convoy operations, to completing a battalion hike that tested endurance and resilience, to establishing effective concealed positions - our Marines embodied discipline, cohesion, and the warfighting mindset.

Field operations are where standards are set and upheld. Every mile traveled, every position established, and every challenge faced strengthens our ability to support the fight and be ready when called.

These Marines thoroughly embodied the mentality of “adapt and overcome.” Proud of this team and our fellow CLB-25 units for their grit and commitment—always ready, always forward.
