Constable Tucker Announces Addition of Dual-Purpose K9 Harley to Strengthen Narcotics Enforcement Efforts

Precinct 2 Constable Tucker proudly announces the addition of K9 Harley, a newly certified dual-purpose patrol and narcotics detection K9, to the Precinct 2 Constable’s Office.

Deputy Anthony Walker recently completed an intensive K9 certification program and has returned to active duty with K9 Harley as his partner. Harley is trained in patrol operations, suspect apprehension, tracking, and the detection of illegal narcotics.

The addition of K9 Harley significantly strengthens the Constable’s Office’s proactive approach to combating illegal drug activity within Precinct 2. Narcotics continue to threaten families, schools, and communities, and this office remains committed to aggressively pursuing those who distribute and profit from illegal drugs.

“This is a clear message,” said Constable Tucker. “If you are bringing narcotics into Precinct 2, we are coming after you. K9 Harley enhances our ability to detect, deter, and remove illegal drugs from our streets while improving officer safety and response capabilities.”

K9 Harley will be available to assist all schools within Precinct 2 for safety demonstrations, prevention education, and enforcement support when requested. The Constable’s Office believes strong enforcement and strong community relationships go hand in hand.

In addition, K9 Harley will be available to assist neighboring law enforcement agencies upon request, reinforcing regional cooperation and strengthening public safety efforts across jurisdictional lines.

The Precinct 2 Constable’s Office remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting citizens, supporting families, and maintaining a zero-tolerance stance against narcotics trafficking.
