The City of Raymondville Public Works Department is currently responding to a water line break affecting the 700–900 blocks between W. Rocky Avenue and W. White Avenue.

💧 Water service in the affected area may be temporarily interrupted while crews complete repairs.

At this time, there is no estimated restoration time.

What an incredible evening of community, connection, and partnership!

We were joined by law enforcement agencies and first responders from across the Rio Grande Valley, along with more than 50 community partners who braved the South Texas heat to help make this year’s National Night Out a huge success.

And most importantly, our community showed up! From families and local organizations to officers, first responders, volunteers, and supporters, the energy throughout Veterans Park made the night one to remember.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined the Raymondville Police Department, Willacy County Juvenile Probation, and Raymondville Cops for Tots in making this event possible.
We are grateful for every partner, every volunteer, and every family who came out to spend the evening with us.

This month’s regional economic development meeting continued important conversations surrounding local and regional growth, current initiatives, and opportunities to strengthen partnerships across the Rio Grande Valley.

Hosted by Raymondville EDC Director Humberto Garza, the meeting brought together local leaders and regional economic development partners to share updates, discuss emerging opportunities, and explore ways to better position Raymondville and Willacy County for future investment.

Special guests included Mario Reyna, Executive Director of RioPlex, whose organization is working to market the Rio Grande Valley and Northern Tamaulipas to businesses and investors around the world, and Mark Garcia, CEO of the McAllen Foreign Trade Zone, who discussed how FTZ programs can help companies manage import duties, manufacturing, processing, and re-export activity.

Both RioPlex and the McAllen Foreign Trade Zone are exploring opportunities to expand into Willacy County, where there is continued potential for growth, investment, and economic development.

Local representatives and community partners in attendance included Willacy County Judge Aurelio Guerra, Community Development Specialist Jessica Rodriguez, and County Treasurer Ruben Cavazos, along with Raymondville City Manager Andy Chavez and City Commissioner Edward Gonzales.

Meetings like these help foster collaborative efforts, strengthen partnerships at the local and regional level, and keep Raymondville and Willacy County connected to broader economic development opportunities across South Texas.

💧 Water service in the surrounding area may be temporarily interrupted while crews complete the necessary repairs.

The City of Raymondville is excited to announce the inaugural Miss Raymondville Pageant—a new opportunity to celebrate the confidence, leadership, and community spirit of our local young women.

If you’re a Raymondville resident or Raymondville ISD student between the ages of 15 and 18, we invite you to take the stage and become part of history as we crown our very first Miss Raymondville Royal Court!

A special thank you goes to the San Isidro Community Club and the Miss San Isidro Royal Court for their guidance, encouragement, and willingness to help bring this exciting opportunity to our community. Their support has been instrumental as we launch what we hope will become a lasting Raymondville tradition.
