Timber Trax 🪵 construction is rolling fast! The track looks amazing but not complete yet and still blocked off from use.

We had some kids out riding this evening and understand they are excited to test it out but please teach them to be respectful and only view it from beyond the yellow taped off construction area 🚧Not only is this dangerous when big holes and construction equipment is throughout, but also can set the project back on completion.

A ribbon cutting date should be announced soon and hopefully it’s open for great fun in the next couple weeks 🛴🚲🛹

🚨⚡ NEW WASHINGTON LAW: E-BIKES & ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES ⚡🚨

A new Washington State law is going into effect June 11, 2026, and it’s important for riders and parents alike to understand what’s changing.

This law creates a clear line between legal e-bikes and electric motorcycles. Some higher-powered electric bikes that people have been riding may no longer qualify as e-bikes under state law.

To be considered a legal e-bike, your ride must:
• Have working pedals
• Have a motor of 750 watts or less
• NOT exceed 20 mph on motor power alone

If your bike doesn’t meet those requirements, it could be classified as an electric motorcycle, which may require:
✅ Registration
✅ Insurance
✅ A valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement

The city currently has a water break they are working to repair in the Riverview neighborhood. The break is located on Fowler Road (between McKinley St. and Taft Ave.). The crew will have Fowler Rd. limited to one lane in this area while work is being completed. Please use caution in the area! ⚠️💦🚧

Some may experience low water pressure or brown discoloration in their water due the break. Flush your lines to clear it.
