The Raymond Garden Club is an amazing group of volunteers who do a lot of wonderful things for our community. Mark your calendar and make plans to come to their plant sale on Saturday, April 25 starting at 8:00 a.m. next to the Mural at the Merchant and Planters Bank drive-thru on the Square in downtown Raymond. Many local gardeners will be there to answer questions and provide advice.
The club is currently accepting applications for their annual kids camp for ages 9-12 which is coming up on Saturday June 6. To request an application send an email to: [email protected]

👏 Representative of the Week: Stephanie Foster 👏

Representing District 63 (Hinds) Representative Foster has served in the Mississippi House of Representatives since 2020. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the State Library Committee and is a member of the Education; Military Affairs; Municipalities; and Universities and Colleges Committees.

She is President of the Western Hills Homeowners Association and a board member of the Association of South Jackson. Representative Foster is also involved in education through the PTSO and PTA at Utica Elementary Middle School and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
