Sampling at Lake Colden and Avalanche Lake yesterday. 35 inches of snow at the stake at Lake Colden, but over 5 feet of snow covered our sampling location at the outlet of Avalanche Lake and required some digging. We got the samples.

The week started off with a return to winter for our field crews, but the weather gradually improved. By Friday, Sue Capone and Korey Devins enjoyed clear weather on the summit of Whiteface Mountain, as they prepped the site for the start of our annual cloud sampling project which begins in June.
