Now accepting applications for the 2022 growing season at the Rawlins Community Gardens. The High Tunnel (located at the Fair Grounds) is full with returning gardeners, but the outdoor garden (located on 7th street on the west side of the Wyoming Frontier Prison) has plots available.

HOW DOES THE COMMUNITY GARDEN WORK?
For a very minimal cost, gardeners rent a plot to plant and grow for the season. Each member volunteers a little time each spring and fall to help with garden clean-up and assists with monthly upkeep like mowing, weeding, caring for perennial beds, etc. The annual rental price per plot is very affordable at only $25 and $35 annually, depending on size. Water and gardening tools available for use on-site and included with your registration fee.

🟢The Rawlins Community Garden is a great space to grow your own veggies, fruit and flowers. Families are welcome and kids really love watching their gardens grow and harvesting the deliciousness.

🟢Scholarship applications are available (typically for organizations like 4H, Girl Scouts, Boys & Girls Club, etc)

The High Tunnel, located at the Fair Grounds is full with returning gardeners, but the outdoor garden located on 7th street on the west side of the Wyoming Frontier Prison grounds has plots available.
