Calling all current 5th-7th grade girls who will be entering 6th-8th grade for the 2026-2027 school year!

Join us for summer basketball flex days to improve your skills, build confidence, and have fun with future teammates!

📍 Location: The DAC
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

📅 Flex Day Dates:
• Thursday, June 18
• Monday, June 22
• Thursday, June 25
• Monday, July 27
• Thursday, July 30

🏀 Requirements:
✔ Current sports physical on file, or must be brought in before participating
✔ Parent/guardian permission
✔ Athletic shoes
✔ Comfortable workout clothes
✔ Water bottle
✔ Positive attitude and willingness to work hard

IMPORTANT:
⭐ Participation in flex days is NOT required.
⭐ Attendance at flex days does NOT guarantee or impact team selection.
⭐ Athletes are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as their schedule allows.
⭐ Flex days are designed to provide skill development and open gym opportunities for interested players.

We look forward to seeing both returning players and new athletes interested in becoming part of the Ravenswood Middle School Girls Basketball program!

🥎🥎🥎 Ravenswood Middle School Softball! 🥎🥎🥎

At the Ravenswood Middle School Softball End-of-Year Banquet last night, Assistant Coach Jason Knopp shared that two new program records have been set for RvMS Softball:

🏆 Emma Barker set the school record for most strikeouts in a single season with an impressive 164 strikeouts.

🏆 Hanna Kruk set the school record for most hits in a single season with 40 hits.

Congratulations to Emma and Hanna on these outstanding accomplishments! We see the Ravenswood Middle Soft teams’ players & coaches hard work, dedication, and commitment to the Ravenswood Middle School Softball history started in Congratulations Ladies for an awesome season! 🥎🥎🥎

As we head into summer break, we want to leave your student with something special that can continue helping each grow even while school is out. Each student will be receiving a gift connected to The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Stephen Covey.

Throughout life, success is not just about grades or test scores. It is also about character, responsibility, leadership, communication, and the choices we make every day. The 7 Habits help teach important life skills such as being proactive, setting goals, working well with others, staying positive, and continuing to improve yourself.

Summer is a great opportunity to continue “leveling up” — not only academically, but personally as well. Whether students are helping at home, participating in sports or activities, reading, spending time with friends, or preparing for next school year, these habits can help guide him/her to make positive choices and become the best version of themselves.

At Ravenswood Middle School, we believe that character matters. We hope this gift encourages students to continue growing into leaders who show kindness, responsibility, respect, and perseverance both inside and outside of school.

Remember — learning does not stop when summer begins. We encourage our students to continue working on their goals, their character, and their future.
