But don’t worry—we’ve got something fun planned! Join us at Jimmy Hilton Pool on June 17th or Parkview Pool on July 8th from 1:00–3:00 PM and enjoy admission for just $2 during those times. We hope to see you there!

Rapid City Parks & Recreation is excited to bring back the 4th Annual Cardboard Boat Race! 🚤✨
Join us for a morning full of creativity, laughs, and a little friendly competition on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Roosevelt Swim Center’s outdoor 50-meter pool.
Check-in begins at 9:00 AM, and the first boats hit the water at 9:30 AM—so start gathering your cardboard, rally your crew, and get ready to make some waves!
And guess what? The Adult Division is back! 🎉 Whether you’re a kid at heart or just love a good challenge, there’s a spot for everyone in the fun.
We can’t wait to see what you build—let the racing begin! 🏁
