Fact: You only need a total of 90 days of qualifying service to be eligible! 🎖️
Remember, Basic Training and AIT don’t count until you’ve completed 24 months of qualifying active duty.

Did you know? Once you leave service you’re no longer eligible to transfer your Post-9/11 GI Bill. It’s important to transfer your Post-9/11 GI Bill while you’re still serving, to give at least one month to each eligible dependent, and to add new dependents to DEERS.

When using Federal Tuition Assistance:
· Enlisted soldiers must have more than 60 days left in service from the course end date
· Officers and Warrant Officers are subject to a four-year Reserve Duty Service Obligation (RDSO) or a two-year Active Duty Service Obligation (ADSO).
