Our Story

At Catholic Social Services, our programs serve people struggling with life's varied circumstances. Licensed professional counselors offer individual, family, marriage and group counseling in Rapid City, at three satellite locations and via telehealth, all on a sliding fee scale.

The Uplifting Parents program mentors single parents while they earn a college degree. The Prosperity Initiative supports a network of Prosperity Coaches, offers direct services to people seeking a path out of poverty, and educates Rapid City about poverty.

The Lakota Circles of Hope curriculum increases Lakota self-identity and reduces risk behaviors for 2nd through 8th grade students.

The Family Services Department provides adoption and birth parent services and educational groups for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and other special needs children.
