Just two years ago, USPS wanted to decrease this facility’s operational capacity. They’ve heard the voices of South Dakotans calling for better service and made investments to improve mail processing in our state. These upgrades mean most South Dakota-originating mail will now be processed and handled in South Dakota. I’m glad USPS recognized that it makes more sense to process South Dakota mail right here.
