A heartfelt thank you to Cheryl Lemley for her thoughtful donation of roses for the mothers staying in WAVI’s shelter this Mother’s Day.

Small acts of kindness create meaningful moments of comfort, care, and encouragement for survivors and their children. We are so grateful for community members like Cheryl who help remind the families we serve that they are valued and supported.

Thank you for helping make Mother’s Day extra special.

WAVI’S SHELTER NEEDS

We have an immediate need to build a fence to create a clear and secure boundary between our administrative office and a neighboring private property.

Needed materials:
• 10 – 4x4 posts (6 ft length)
• 36 – 1x8 boards (6 ft length)

This project helps strengthen safety, privacy, and security for our space.

If you are able to donate materials or support this project, please reach out to Amber at [email protected]

At Working Against Violence Inc, this work is about people and creating safe futures.

In just three months, 130 individuals reached out for help. Through 3,082 services, they were met with support and someone who listened.

Every number represents a moment when someone chose safety. A moment when they were believed. A moment that helped them take the next step forward.
You are not alone.
