‼️‼️YMCA Camp Marrowbone registration is still open and we still have spots available!‼️‼️

Allen Youth Center is open Tuesday–Saturday from 12:00pm–8:00pm if you need help getting signed up. They have computers on hand that the community can use to help register youth, a staff member can also walk you through registration over the phone during those same hours.

Don’t wait too long — spots are filling up! If you need support, just stop in or give them a call. They are more than ready to help get your kids set for camp.

Next week, a group of Lakota youth will be heading to Camp Marrowbone.

For many of these kids, camp is more than just a week away from home. It's an opportunity to connect with one another, spend time on the land, learn, grow, and strengthen their sense of identity through a culturally focused camp experience. It's new friendships, confidence, laughter around a campfire, and memories they'll carry with them long after summer ends.

The only problem is that some of our campers don't have the gear they need.

We're putting together supplies for youth from our community and are asking for a little help. If you'd like to support a camper, we've created an Amazon Wish List with items like sleeping bags, towels, flashlights, bug spray, and other camp essentials.

You can also drop off donations at the Allen Youth Center.

Every item donated helps make sure a child arrives at camp ready for the adventure ahead.

We are selling some generously donated furniture at the Indian Action Team Garage. The sale is tomorrow, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be couches, dressers, nightstands, tables, and chairs. Please plan to load and haul away your own purchases.

You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A, where you can get all your questions answered and learn how we create a safe, inclusive, and high-energy environment for every camper.

As South Dakota’s only residential summer camp, YMCA Camp Marrowbone provides a unique opportunity for youth to unplug, build confidence, make lifelong friendships, and truly belong. Whether your child is brand new to camp or returning for another summer, this session will give you everything you need to feel confident and excited about the experience.
