• Increasing the visibility of Senate and relaying our vision to the student body.
• Strengthening “Mines Pride” through launching new initiatives designed to unify SDSM&T students by creating a culture of respect and responsibility among faculty and students.
• Protecting and advocating the interests of the student body.
• Ensuring safety and quality on campus.
• Continuous update on the development of the Recreation Center/ Wellness Center
• Integrating the various leadership initiatives at the University, and expanding the scope
• Expanding the visibility of the Mines Legacy so that students capitalize on its potential benefits. By working collaboratively with the administration and student organizations, we will provide a sustained effort to foster the long-term goal of a more integrated Mines community. It is vital that these changes are implemented in an atmosphere of openness which is most important to us. We will strive to create a community of which we can all be proud of. We sincerely appreciate your consideration and welcome any new ideas and perspectives in the Senate as we endeavor to represent you and take the South Dakota School of Mines forward.
