Brenbrook Hook & Hose ™️ responded to Westviews first due for the report of a kitchen fire. E-13 went on scene with a 3 story garden style nothing evident. 13 stretched to the top floor due to reports of active fire and people trapped on the 3rd.

E-41 arrived side Charlie with smoke showing from Div 2. 41 stretched to the second floor via ladder. When 41s crew went to knock the fire due to a hole in the hose from the window sash there was a loss of pressure. Therefore crews were met with a rapid decline in interior conditions, ultimately forcing 2 crew members to bail out head first down the ladder.

T-18 arrived side Charlie and assisted vertical vent as well as searches on Div 2. T-18 step man was able to extinguish what was left of the fire with 41’s compromised line.

Brenbrook Hose ™️ along with 13’s officer assisted a resident from the 3rd floor via ladder.

Everyone made it out safe. Crews members that were transported to the hospital are well and making a good recovery.

Strong work again by the 2nd Battalion when things could have been really bad.
