LLANO QUEMADO MDWCA Customers: Today, January 10, 2025, the water will be shut off from the Capilla area down to Old Santa Fe Road. Starting at about 2:30 pm for a couple of hours.
EDIT: Now shutoff is extended to Highway 68.

Llano Quemado MDWCA Customers: the plumber was able to fix water problem without having to turn water off in the area. We hope the message in our previous post did not inconvenience you too much.

Llano Quemado MDWCA customers on Valley Road , Eliverio Road, Leyba Road, Vista de Valle, Pebbles Road and George Torres Road: the Community water will be shut off on Monday November 11, 2024 starting at about 10:30 am for about 3 or 4 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The water on Camino Sur del Llano Quemado will be off for about another 2 hours. Probably until 4:30 pm.

This morning, Thursday, September 23, 2021 you will experience very low presssure, or possibly no water starting at about 9:00 a.m.to 11:30 a.m., while a water line is being repaired. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

An MDWCA is run by an elected Board composed of 3 or more board members. An MDWCA is a public entity eligible for public funding. An MDWCA is a local government subject to the Open Meetings Act, Public Records Act, Procurement Code and the Audit Act.

The El Valle de Los Ranchos office is now open to the public. Llano Quemado MDWCA customers are now able to pay their bill there. You can leave it with me on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or you can leave your payments in the drop-box if I'm not there.

Bill Payment Procedure During Coronavirus Emergency
March 16, 2020

Due to President Donald J. Trump’s declaration of a national emergency and Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s declaration of a public health emergency because of the COVID-19 (coronavirus), we are implementing the following bill payment procedures effective immediately until further notice:

We encourage all water users to pay their water bill by mail using a check or money order.

If you can only pay using cash, please place the exact payment and the remitting portion of your water bill in a sealed envelope and place it in our drop box at the El Valle de Los Ranchos Water and Sanitation District Office (El Valle) building. Do not give the payment to the El Valle staff.

Ruby Martinez will not be taking payments at our office.

This procedure will remain in place as long as the health emergency remains in place and is being implemented to encourage social distancing during the declared health emergency.
