Rancho Mirage, I'd like for you to get to know me a little better.

For 46 years the Coachella Valley has been my home — more than 34 of them right here in Rancho Mirage, where I raised my son, built my business, and have devoted my life to this community I love. From my start as an X-ray technician to 18 years inside city government as a Certified Municipal Clerk, I've spent a lifetime learning how to get things done for you.

Rancho Mirage, it's official: I'm running for re-election to our City Council. It has been the honor of my life to serve this community — first with your vote in 2022, and this past year as your Mayor, the role our Council rotates among its members. Now I'm asking to once again earn your vote on November 3rd!

I first ran because I believe public service is a responsibility to carry with care, not a title to hold. Over these four years I've worked hard to honor that every day: keeping our neighborhoods safe, managing our City's finances wisely, supporting a strong local economy, delivering the reliable infrastructure you count on, and welcoming workforce and senior housing on our terms, all while preserving the midcentury heritage that makes Rancho Mirage one of a kind.

I'm running again because there is more to do, and because experience matters. As a Certified Municipal Clerk with a lifetime of service in this valley, I understand our budgets, our neighborhoods, and what it takes to keep our City strong. Serving as your Mayor this year has only deepened that commitment. I vow to keep earning your trust, making informed decisions, and leading with transparency.

I am grateful to former Mayor Ted Weill for his years of dedicated service, Mayor Pro Tem Michael O’Keefe, and Council Members Eve Fromberg Edelstein and Steve Downs for their partnership.

Thank you to our City staff, first responders, residents, local businesses, and community organizations that keep Rancho Mirage safe and thriving.

The 2022 City Council Election has come to a conclusion with the Riverside County Registrar of Voters certifying the election.

The enthusiasm and passion for Rancho Mirage are evident in the residents and business owners in our community. I am humbled by the kindness, support, and engagement of the voters.

It is my honor to be elected as your Council Member and vow to work in partnership with you, my fellow Council Members, and City Staff.
