💧 TIP TUESDAY | What’s With the Bubbles? 🫧

Ever fill a glass of tap water and notice tiny bubbles or a milky, cloudy appearance? In many cases, it’s simply dissolved air in the water.

Water traveling through pipes is under pressure, which can cause air to dissolve into it. Once the water reaches your glass and the pressure is released, that air forms tiny bubbles, sometimes making the water appear milky or cloudy.

A little science happening right in your glass! 💧🫧

CVWD is proud to conclude its second annual Water Ranger Summer Camp, where more than 200 students participated in two separate three-day camps filled with hands-on learning, STEM exploration, and water education.

Throughout the week, campers built water filtration systems, learned about water-wise gardening, planted succulents to take home, toured the Lloyd W. Michael Water Treatment Plant, and participated in engaging activities designed to inspire curiosity and environmental stewardship.

A special thank you to our incredible partners - Alta Loma School District, Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA), and the City of Rancho Cucamonga for helping make this program such a success. Together, we're inspiring the next generation of water stewards and making learning about water fun!

This program would not be possible without the generous grant funding provided by San Bernardino County Supervisor Jesse Armendarez, whose support helps make these educational opportunities available to students throughout our community.

We can't wait to welcome our future Water Rangers back next summer! 💙💧
