“Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of Sheriff’s Sergeant Grant Ward, President of SEBA. Grant was virtuous, kind, and a deeply respected leader whose dedication to public safety and service to others never wavered.
He led with integrity, compassion, and strength, earning the trust and admiration of colleagues and friends alike. Grant was someone people could rely on, not only as a law enforcement professional, but as a genuine and caring human being. He was a friend to many, and his presence made our community stronger.
Our hearts are with his wife and daughters during this incredibly difficult time. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and the entire law enforcement community. Grant’s legacy of service, leadership, and friendship will live on in the many lives he touched.
Grant was a friend, and he will be deeply missed.”
