We believe that children learn best by hands-on experiences and that they learn at their own pace. We also believe that children learn within the context of warm and caring relationships and that strong social-emotional skills are crucial to learning readiness. We offer small classes with a low teacher child ratio (1:6) in order to give each child the time and attention they need to thrive and se

e themselves as capable learners. Our curriculum is a balanced combination of play and hands-on learning with a solid Christian foundation. Families do not have to be Christian or attend River City Christian in order to enroll in the preschool but they do need to agree to our practices of prayer, bible stories and biblical character traits. Our creative and loving teachers are all committed Christians whose academic backgrounds meet or exceed the current state requirements for early educators. We currently offer 1, 2, 3 and 5 day half-day classes, including Transitional Kindergarten (9am-12 noon) based on the child's age. Optional extended care (8:30-9 and 12-2) is also available on a regular or drop-in basis.
