Save a life by donating blood on August 21, from 1:00 PM-7:00 PM at the Finch Park VFW Building (lower parking lot near the Green Shed). Hosted in partnership with the New York Blood Center, Ramsey OEM/CERT. Every donation can help save lives. We hope to see you there!

Current status: The New York Blood Center, which serves hospitals across New York and northern New Jersey, has declared its second blood emergency of the summer. The regional blood supply is down to about a two-day inventory, well below the recommended 5-7 day supply

The Ramsey OEM CERT team recently welcomed new graduate as they completed their CPR training- an essential skill that helps save lives when seconds matter.

These volunteers continue to step up, dedicating their time to learn, train, and serve the community. From emergency support to community events, their commitment strengthens our preparedness every day.

We’re proud of their hard work and dedication, and we look forward to seeing them in action.

Ramsey OEM CERT Division proudly supported New Jersey Transit Police Emergency Management during a historic preparedness exercise alongside partners from across the region. This event showcased the strength of coordination, communication, and teamwork, and was featured on both domestic and national news platforms.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to NJ TRANSIT Police Emergency Management for the opportunity to be part of such a significant and historic event.

Additionally, thank you to the Bergen County CERT teams, especially Paramus CERT and River Vale CERT, for your collaboration and support throughout the exercise. Your efforts were instrumental in making this a success.
