Ramsey’s Door-to-Door Soliciting Guidelines

For solicitors:
🔹 A license is required for anyone soliciting or peddling goods door-to-door.
🔹 All licensed solicitors must carry their City-issued ID badge and license while conducting business.
🔹 The City Council must approve licenses before they are issued.

For residents:
You may display a sign that reads “Peddlers and Solicitors Prohibited” at their front door to deter visits.

To report an unlicensed solicitor:
Call Police Dispatch at 763-427-1212 or dial 911.
Violators may face a fine of up to $250 and/or be denied future license applications.

The Ramsey Safety Camp is just around the corner, and the great news is that we still have spots available for registration!
🔴 Who: Kids entering 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades for the 2025-26 school year
🟠 Location: Central Park (7925 161st Ave NW, Ramsey, MN 55303)
🟡 Time: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
🟢 Optional Ice Cream Social: 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
🔵 Fee: $30, which covers activities, supplies, snacks, lunch, a t-shirt, and the ice cream social
