Last week was our lucky week when Ramseur’s Girl Scout Troop 2164 brought us a wagonload of their famous Girl Scout Cookies! Who doesn’t love their cookies? Thank you for thinking of us!

Thank you Loflin Funeral Home for thinking of us this week. Many people don’t realize that we operate at an Emergency Medical Technician level of care and respond with ambulances to medical emergencies. Often we arrive first and initiate the appropriate medical care.

We made sure to celebrate our local community during EMS appreciate week 🚑

Ramseur Fire responded Engine 43 and a crew.

Shortly after 5AM, ESFD and automatic-aid were dispatched to a structure fire on Gold Hill Rd. Units arrived to find a fully-involved storage building with exposure to two other structures. Two attack lines were stretched to knock down the main body of fire before crews performed overhaul.

Thanks to our assisting agencies who provided apparatus and manpower.

Randolph County will still be under the burn ban. We have not had enough rain for it to be lifted.
