Our staff picks at our bookstore, The Open Book, have been so popular--both with bookstore staff and patrons--that we had to add another shelf!

By the way almost everything is half-off on Saturday, so stop by tomorrow and score some great deals! We're located inside the Ramona Community Library at 1275 Main St. and our bookstore hours are 10:30 - 3:30pm.

! Did you know that the Friends of the Ramona Library Bookstore, The Open Book, is run entirely by an all‑volunteer staff? Our dedicated volunteers shelve, organize, and welcome visitors and, as a bonus, meet new like-minded friends!

Please join us on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Ramona Community Library to enjoy the Ramona Quartet live!

The quartet consists of two couples: engineers who fell for each other (and the button accordion) in accordion school, and a couple who played cello and double bass professionally and picked up the accordion just for fun. Together they play Italian folk songs and classical music that’s a delight to listen to! 🎶

This concert is presented by the Friends of the Ramona Library, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are able to fund events like this from proceeds from our bookstore sales, monetary donations, and membership dues.

Today (Monday, June 8th) is the last day that Hank Newman's Monday afternoon yoga class will meet at Ramona Methodist Church (3394 Chapel Ln), from 3:00–4:30 PM.
