The Center for Safer Schools is hosting ASIST training this week in Cabarrus County and at Asheville City Schools. The sessions are being facilitated by Jessica Jackson and Gabriela Castro of Sandy Hook Promise.
Participants in LivingWorks ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training) learn how to engage directly with a person thinking about su***de, reduce immediate risk and co-create a personalized Safety Plan that promotes hope, safety and connection.
