Chrysalis Network strives to make positive personal and cultural change towards peace, equality, and social justice. We believe this can only begin to occur when sexism, sexual violence, and relationship violence end. Through this vision, Chrysalis Network provides holistic, customized, effective, and evidence-based training programs and consulting services for schools, colleges, and professionals. We also provide counseling services for survivors of this violence and their loved ones.

NC survivors & r**e crisis center advocates: tremendous resource from North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault!

NCCASA CARES Act: Supporting Survivors & RCC Advocates

Have you been financially impacted by COVID-19? Are you a sexual assault survivor in NC or an RCC advocate in NC? NCCASA may be able to support you financially. Through the CARES Act, NCCASA has launched an application to receive financial support. All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and applicants will be contacted within 2-3 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I apply to receive assistance with? If you are a survivor of sexual violence, you can apply to receive assistance with living expenses, food expenses, clothing expenses, and others relevant to the cost of living. If you are an RCC advocate, you can apply to receive assistance with purchases beneficial to your physical and emotional well-being.

How far in advance can I request funds? Because this funding is from the CARES Act, all purchases and invoices must be made prior to 12/30/20. All expenses funded must take place in 2020.
What will I need to provide for the application? Once contacted, you will be asked for a breakdown of the total amount requested and any relevant documentation to the requests, such as bills, invoices, or therapist name/licensure.

NCCASA is actively going to link survivors with their local programs, so they are aware of a program in their area that can additionally provide support. With joint services from NCCASA and programs across the state, we will ensure survivor and advocate needs are met.

Please fill out the Google Form below (in comments) that is most applicable to your situation to find out more about eligibility requirements and specifications.

“Jerry Falwell Jr. has agreed to take “an indefinite leave of absence” from his role as president of Liberty University after the release of a viral photo that showed him vacationing on a yacht with his pants unzipped, holding a beverage, and with his arm around a woman.”

The decision came a day after a top House Republican called on Falwell, who is a leading evangelical supporter of Trump, to resign as president of the large Christian school.
