Today is National Senior Citizens Day! Its history dates back to 1988, when Ronald Reagan signed the promulgation of 5847, which officially declared August 21st as National Senior Citizen’s Day in the United States.

Hello! My name is Delphine Lopez and I am the owner of Sunshine Abilities LLC. Some of you may know me as Daniel Lopez's sister, and some of you may not. Regardless, I am so happy to have you here!

I am a social worker specializing in the studies and rights of individuals with diverse needs and abilities. This includes individuals of any age with any realm and "level" of (dis)ability (Intellectual & Developmental, Neurocognitive, Neurological, Physical, Emotional & Behavioral, etc.) caused by any type of factor (Genetic, Environmental, Health, etc.).

I created Sunshine Abilities as a way to apply my knowledge of diverse populations with my skill of creating specialized intervention plans for those with specific needs. Collaboration, Communication, Empathy, and Empowerment are at the forefront of my work. I strongly believe that you are the professional of your own life. With my knowledge and skills brought to the table, I am confident that you or your loved one will succeed in whatever way that might personally mean.
